i know its been awhile since i've shared with you all just how dumb people are, so here's a few more for you..
a lady comes into my store and she asks "what diet sodas do you have?" i proceed to tell her "diet coke is the only one we have" she says "ok, i'll have a strawberry lemonade."
bitch.. last time i checked, not diet at all...
one of my fellow employees had someone ask for "half sweet lemonade, half unsweet lemonade." first off, its not fuckin hand squeezed, gourmet shit, its from the fountain..
jesus, why are people so dumb!!!

so this is a combination one of a dumb guest and a dumb server tonight. i was QA and had a see server on one of the checks. the server proceeds to tell me what this see server is for the margartia chicken.
are you ready for this one......
and i quote "she wants it to be hot. like hot, hot, hot."
i then say "as opposed to cold? do you mean spicy? "
so i keep the server by my side, place my arm around her shoulder, and tell my cooks what this see server is. they looked at her like she was totally dumb!!! the other QA with me suggested putting it on a skillet, if needed, to make it really hot. why on earth would you order a hot meal and ask for it to come out hot?!?! and why would you even put a see server on it for that reason??
the one that really topped off my night tonight came from a salad/nacho cook. the order was house salad, only croutons, cbvin. the dude gives me a bowl of croutons with a side of cbvin!!!! and when i proceed to ask for the proper item he says "i gave it to you. it's right there." as he points to the bowl of just croutons.
sometimes i really wonder about the common sense level of people. i mean, i know i have my moments and all (they're usually pretty big ones)...but COME ON!!!! SERIOUSLY PEOPLE!!!!
