so its around 2 pm, and a guy comes in with his son and orders a dessert that requires ice cream.. the guy looks at me and says with a straight face "will this ice cream melt if we're not going to be home for 40 minutes?"

of course, its gonna melt..

last week I a few ladies sat up at the bar, one ordered a long island, the other said she needed a minute.
When I came back, she says "I'll take a long island too, that's kind of like a Mai Tai, right?"
"Um...no. Not at all." I proceed to tell her the difference between the two.
"So, the long island is fruitier?"
"No, the Mai Tai is fruitier, the long island isn't fruity at all."
"Ok. Well, I want something fruity"
I give a whole list of ideas.
"You know, I'm just going to get the Long Island."
